Stitching a simple triangle shape design that becomes a border.

SHINDHI THOPA: TRIANGLE SHAPE

Step 1:

Draw a grid along the stretch of cloth that you want to stitch the sindhi thopa. 

Prefarably 1.5 cm by 1.5 cm as shown below

START FROM THE RIGHT TO THE LEFT ALL ALONG THE STITCHING AREA

Study the needle: at the top row the needle comes out on the thread, then move to your left onto the bottom row.  study the picture carefully.

Study the needle: at the bottom row the needle comes out in front of the thread, then move to the top on your left 

STEP 3

Second Row: Begin in the middle of the first triangle and move the needle below the thread

That is the end of a net for 1 triangle.  Continue the steps all along the stitching area until you come to an end.  The next step will be the netting.

When stitching, remember not to pull the thread to hard as it will tightened the frame work.  Keep your hand a little relax.

This should be how the back of the cloth should look like.
